Last night, we performed a scheduled server migration as a part to continually provide optimal performance and reliability with our services. We have migrated our dedicated servers from Hostrocket over to a company called ServInt to better suit our needs.
All sites were moved through the course of the night, with DNS records changed on the previous server to help ensure zero downtime. Any requests pointing to the old server will simply be pointed towards the new server.
Our new server specs are as follows:
- Quad Core Xeon® X3440 Processor
- 8 GB 1333MHz DDR3 Memory
- 500GB Serial ATA Storage in RAID 1
Along with server upgrades, we are now doing more secure, more reliable backups - running daily and weekly.
