GetBid on is a FREE consumer tool used for getting service specific advertising and offers in real time--for whatever it is your looking for! Their Goal is to create a highly competitive buying environment by putting consumers in touch with businesses in a quick and effortless fashion.

We spent a good amount of time developing and foolproofing the site to bring it up and out to it's full potential. The site is chock full of features and runs on our ever-popular MMD-CMS. The system was manipulated and even redesigned to account for a heavily modified database structure. These changes will become evident in future releases of our platform as part of an effort to bring more full-featured releases and faster systems to our clients.

Site Features

AJAX Registrations and Page Interactions This is a heavily AJAX-based site, which helps to not only speed up page interactions but reduce server load.
Split Member Directories A user may distinguish their consumer and business accounts from one another while still keeping them routed under the same email address.
Member Privacy and Control No personal member information is openly shared unless given out by our users. Besides showing the users full name, all emails are sent using an in-house mail system that masks the senders email.
Efficient Database Structure We started with over 3,000 Cities and Services and over 800,000 Business Accounts - Site is running full power, with load times under a fraction of a second per page!
Socialized We are utilizing social medias as a means to spread the word about the site. We have added the ability to share, like, and +1 just about every page on the site, as well as comment on any news posts by administrator.s.
Optimized Data Handling To decrease page load times for administrators, any lists or heavy actions that need to be processed are done behind the scenes, thanks to use of CRON jobs. Rather than email our list of subscribed businesses all at once, emails are sent out in batches of a few hundred at a time, every few minutes. Member list processing takes place every few minutes as well - which can take up to a few minutes to process a large list.
